**Discover the depth of artistic minds at the Inner Sanctum exhibition at Everard Read Johannesburg.**
Dive into the intimate worlds of 50 of South Africa’s most captivating contemporary artists at the Inner Sanctum exhibition at Everard Read Gallery in Johannesburg.
The exhibition explores the personal spaces where artworks are born, offering each piece a gateway into each artist’s diverse creative processes. From chaotic studios to serene and organised spaces, the exhibition uncovers the sources of inspiration, tools and personal touches that define each artist’s inner sanctum. Divided into five themes – Objects of Reflection, Inner Gaze, Echoes of Self, Creative Sanctuaries and Through the Eyes of the Artist – visitors can navigate through still lifes, emotional journeys, self-portraits and scenes from the artists’ workspaces.
As Molle explains, the artists were invited to freely interpret the theme, capturing everything from the warmth of a cup of coffee to the frustrations of creativity.
Inner Sanctum will be on display until December 20.
This exhibition offers art lovers the opportunity to explore the depths of creative minds and immerse themselves in the inner worlds of contemporary South African artists. An experience that is sure to enrich the soul and provoke thought.
