During this training workshop in Kinshasa, organized by the French Embassy in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Affairs, Laurence Parry, Cooperation Attaché for French, stressed the need to expand language learning to better respond to the multilingualism present in the country.

This gathering brought together around fifty teachers from different regions of the DRC, all driven by the desire to enrich their knowledge and skills in literacy and literature in a multilingual context.

The objective of this workshop was to develop teaching strategies that take into account the linguistic diversity of learners, by integrating both the French language and national languages. Indeed, it is essential to recognize and value the linguistic richness of the country to ensure effective and inclusive teaching.
