**The Flood Disaster in Borno, Nigeria: A Call to Action for Justice and Accountability**
The devastating floods in Borno, Nigeria have once again highlighted the urgent need to act against the consequences of inaction and corruption. As the region recovers from the ravages of the natural disaster, calls for justice and accountability are growing.
Former Labour Party presidential aspirant Faduri Oluwadare Joseph spoke on the issue, stressing the need to assign responsibility and hold accountable those who contributed to the tragedy through their negligence and corrupt inaction. He called for the culprits to be brought to justice.

Joseph concluded by calling on leaders to do better, stressing that Nigeria has the potential to succeed and that he still believes in that possibility.
