The rebirth of the Kibali bridge: a flagship project for the province of Haut-Uele in the DRC

The province of Haut-Uele, in the Democratic Republic of Congo, is currently facing a major reconstruction project: the Kibali bridge. The need to rebuild this crucial bridge, which linked Durba to the territory of Watsa on the RN26, has become imperative since its collapse last February.

Finally, the construction of a new metal deck, with a capacity of 60 tonnes, will ensure increased durability of the structure.

The mobilization of the Kibali Gold company, via the specialized organization, to finance the work is a concrete example of the involvement of the private sector in the improvement of public infrastructure. The transparency and efficiency of operations demonstrate a professional and participatory approach.

By bringing together a wide range of political, administrative and customary authorities for the launch of the work, the administrator of the Watsa territory, Dieudonné Magay Missa, underlined the importance of cooperation and solidarity for the success of construction projects. wingspan. This project, beyond its material dimension, embodies hope for progress and prosperity for the entire community.
