In the town of Isiro, a major police action led to the arrest of around ten criminals operating in the region. This success was achieved during an operation carried out during the night of Thursday to Friday March 22, 2024. Among the individuals apprehended, there was even a woman in her fifties.
The competent authorities presented the suspects to the press on Friday March 22, 2024, at the headquarters of the Congolese National Police. The deputy provincial commissioner in charge of the judicial police, Senior Commissioner Fidèle Misambo, stressed that stolen goods such as mattresses, motorcycles, sewing machines and computers were being returned to their rightful owners, upon instruction. of the interim provincial commissioner, Paluku Makeusi.
