“Egypt’s foreign policy in the era of flexibility: an overview of challenges and opportunities”

At the recent annual gathering of the Faculty of Economics and Political Sciences, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Abo Zeid, highlighted the flexibility of Egypt’s foreign policy in the face of challenges and rapid developments on the international scene.

This speech highlighted the characteristics of the social and economic development of the Sustainable Development Strategy (SDS): Egypt Vision 2030, stressing that this vision is based on strengthening the stability of the State, defending the national security and serving the interests of Egyptian citizens.

Abo Zeid praised Egypt’s wise policy in handling national and international developments, seriously addressing the various challenges under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.

This discussion brought together prominent officials such as former Foreign Minister Mohamed al-Oraby and Vice-President of the European Union Delegation to Egypt, Anne Schouw, highlighting diplomatic relations, political issues and economic, as well as the stability of Egypt in a constantly changing global context.

The future of Egyptian foreign policy looks promising, with a strong desire to maintain flexibility to face challenges and seize opportunities offered by a constantly changing international environment.
