AFIS 2023: Towards a world-class financial industry in Africa

More than 1,000 financial leaders, policy makers and regulators gathered in Lomé, Togo, from November 15 to 16, 2023, for the Africa Financial Industry Summit (AFIS). This major event aims to address challenges and create a world-class financial industry.

Organized by Jeune Afrique Media Group, in partnership with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the Republic of Togo, AFIS has become a strategic platform for public-private dialogue aimed at transforming the African financial landscape.

During these two days of conferences, workshops and round tables, participants were able to discuss current topics such as risk management linked to currency fluctuations, the tokenization of African assets, global economic reforms and the impact of artificial intelligence in the financial sector.
