Title: The development projects of the Central Coordination Office in Kasai Central

Introduction: The Central Coordination Office (BCeCo) is engaged in carrying out numerous development projects in the Kasai Central province. Under the supervision of its General Director, Jean Mabi Mulumba, the institution ensures that these projects progress in accordance with the planned schedule and in compliance with quality standards. During a recent working mission, the BCeCo delegation inspected several works under construction, demonstrating its commitment to the local development program.

Administrative infrastructure under construction: The first site visited by the delegation was the administrative building of the Dibaya Territory. This project, entrusted to local SMEs, is currently being implemented and shows significant progress. The visit by the Director General of BCeCo aimed to ensure that quality standards were respected and to raise awareness among the population of the importance of the Local Development Program (PDL). The local population expresses their gratitude to the Head of State for these infrastructures which will contribute to the improvement of their living conditions.

Progress in the health sector: The BCeCo delegation went to the morgue of the Kananga provincial general referral hospital. The construction work on this new morgue is well underway, arousing the satisfaction of the population. At the same time, the urban roads of Kananga were also inspected. Work to stabilize roads and build water evacuation channels is progressing at a steady pace, contributing to the prevention of erosion and the improvement of the city’s infrastructure.

Education and health at the heart of concerns: As part of the PDL, the BCeCo pays particular attention to the education and health sectors. This is why the delegation visited the Muana Bute primary school and the Matamba health center, which are also benefiting from renovation and extension works. These infrastructures will improve access to education and health care for the local population, thus contributing to the social and human development of the province.

Major road works: Finally, the delegation visited the Kananga-Kalamba Mbuji road, where widening works are underway. This road is of capital importance, because it opens up several provinces of the DRC and facilitates trade with southern Africa and Europe. The work is progressing quickly and the opening of the 92 kilometers of track has already been completed. This demonstrates BCeCo’s commitment to improving road infrastructure to promote economic development in the region.

Conclusion: The Central Coordination Office continues its local development mission in the Kasai Central province. The numerous projects underway confirm BCeCo’s commitment to improving infrastructure and essential services. This working visit made it possible to note significant progress in various sectors, such as administrative infrastructure, health, education and roads. The BCeCo continues to work tirelessly to ensure the success of the Local Development Program and contribute to the harmonious development of the province.
