Novak Djokovic wins Roland-Garros 2023 and becomes the most successful Grand Slam tennis player in history with 23 coronations. At 36, the Serbian player beat Casper Ruud in the final with a score of 7-6 (7/1), 6-3, 7-5. This performance allows him to overtake the Spaniard Rafael Nadal and his 22 Major titles. Djokovic also becomes the first player in history to win each of the four Majors at least three times.
By winning his third victory at Roland-Garros, Djokovic honored his title of world number one, which he recovers from this Monday, June 12, to the detriment of the Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz. This is his 388th week at the top of the ATP rankings, a record.
