A new lease of life for Congolese youth: presentation of the recovery plan by Hervé Tansia Wa Ntumba

In a context where youth is a major issue, Hervé Tansia Wa Ntumba, leader and youth coach, has developed an ambitious recovery plan for Congolese youth. The plan, titled “Operation Desert Storm”, was presented at a conference in Ka-Be, at the Hôtel de Kinshasa.

The youth recovery plan is based on 7 essential axes which are the pillars of the evils that afflict the youth of the Democratic Republic of Congo. These axes are:

1. Agriculture and Rurality Axis: promote the development of agriculture and rural areas to stimulate employment and improve the living conditions of young people.

2. Juvenile delinquency and depravity of morals axis: fight against delinquency and deviant behavior by implementing prevention, education and supervision actions.

3. Youth, Population and Development Axis: promoting the active participation of young people in development processes and integrating their needs and aspirations into public policies.

4. Youth, Culture and New Citizenship Axis: promoting culture and fostering the emergence of a new generation of committed and responsible citizens.

5. Youth and Gender Axis: fight against gender discrimination and promote equal opportunities and rights between young men and women.

6. Youth Axis, Partnership For Development: encourage cooperation and partnership between young Congolese, public institutions, civil society organizations and economic actors for sustainable development.

7. Youth axis and strengthening the institutional and technical capacities of the Ministry in charge of youth and youth structures: strengthen the capacities of institutions and structures in charge of youth in order to better meet the needs and expectations of young people.

This recovery plan aims to strengthen institutional, technical and operational capacities to enable young Congolese to flourish and contribute actively to the development of the country. Hervé Tansia is convinced that the implementation of this plan will transform Congolese youth and create a more prosperous and dynamic Congo.

It is important to underline that Hervé Tansia has solid experience in the area of youth, having worked with Madame Chantal Mulop, adviser to the Head of State on youth, gender and human trafficking, as well as adviser of the Minister of Youth, Yves Bunkulu Zola.

The youth recovery plan proposed by Hervé Tansia Wa Ntumba represents a unique opportunity for Congolese youth to take charge and actively participate in building a better future.. It is now essential that the authorities and the various actors involved work together to make this plan a reality and offer young Congolese the means to achieve their ambitions. The time has come to give Congolese youth the tools they need to flourish and contribute fully to the development of the country
