In addition, work to modernize airport infrastructure and air navigation aid equipment has been undertaken in several cities in the DRC, including Kisangani, Bunia, Kananga, Mbuji-Mayi, Kin-Ndolo, Kolwezi, Kindu, Kalemie , Boende and Goma.

Despite the challenges encountered, the RVA has maintained acceptable operational capacities thanks to its competent technical staff. The company continued to ensure the take-off and landing of planes in its airport platforms as well as the guidance of foreign planes flying over the DRC.
