News: Ugandan rebels of the Democratic and Allied Forces (ADF) free in the Babila-Bakwanza chiefdom
On the morning of Friday, July 21, the coordination of the New Congolese Civil Society (NSCC) territorial branch of Mambasa reported the presence of Ugandan rebels of the Democratic and Allied Forces (ADF) freely circulating in the Babila-Bakwanza chiefdom.
According to the information collected, the ADF terrorists burned down five houses in the localities of Babulujo and Mabuluku, located on the national road number 4 axis Mambasa-Komanda. This testifies to the dangerousness of these rebels who continue to sow terror and destruction in the region.
Faced with this situation, the NSCC calls for the deployment of a large number of soldiers in the chiefdom to stop the movement of the rebels. Master John Vuleveryo, coordinator of this citizen structure, stresses the importance of undertaking military operations to track down the ADF and ensure the safety of the local population.
It is important to remember that this attack is unfortunately not an isolated incident. Already on July 13, the same rebels had attacked the towns of Apesiko and Elake Nord, causing several civilian casualties. Despite public alerts to the presence of this terrorist group, no concrete action has been taken to stop them.
These events highlight the persistent security challenges in the Mambasa region. The continued presence of ADF rebels threatens the lives of residents and compromises their daily security. It is therefore imperative that the authorities take effective measures to eradicate this threat and restore peace in the region.
In conclusion, the presence of Ugandan rebels from the Democratic and Allied Forces (ADF) freely circulating in the Babila-Bakwanza chiefdom poses a serious threat to the local population. It is necessary to undertake military operations to neutralize them and guarantee the safety of the inhabitants. The authorities must take this situation seriously and act quickly to put an end to this persistent insecurity
