SACIM affair in DRC: Ngoyi Kasanji, “Uncle Ngokas”, the former governor of Eastern Kasai on the saddle.

Hello everyone ! Today, we are going to talk about the “Anhui/Congo Mining Investment Company” (SACIM) affair which is occupying the media and causing a stir in the socio-political universe of the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Independent observers have unveiled the underside of this affair. According to them, some crooked, selfish and hateful Congolese are uncomfortable with the high sense of patriotism of the current President Félix TSHISEKEDI. This news catches up with them and pushes them to explain their past involvement in the management of this affair.

Among them, Ngoyi Kasanji, known as “Tonton Ngokas”. The former governor of Kasaï-Oriental failed to negotiate the Sino-Congolese SACIM partnership properly and let Congo lose its due. Ngokas is known for his support for the old regime and has long defended the interests of the Kabila family.

Before the arrival of Félix TSHISEKEDI to the supreme magistracy, an equitable sharing of 50% for each of the parties was planned. However, China profited from all the production sold outside the country. The share of the DRC then benefited an untouchable “Monster” who wanted to see the Congolese rotting in misery.

The new government has created Tenders to restore justice and allow any buyer to make a deal freely, without constraint. This decision angered Ngoyi Kasanji and the four national operators who benefited from the old arrangements lost their monopoly. Today, the various buyers according to their financial capacity are investing locally, placing our country in the perspective of the installation and development of a mineral substances exchange supervised by the Center for Expertise, Evaluation and Certification ( CEEC).

Ngokas, who presents himself as a defender of the people, is in fact campaigning for his own interests. He martyred the Kasaian population for more than a decade. The bloody repressions he carried out gave rise to a massive exodus of young Kasaians to the capital or Lubumbashi, monopolizing all the mineral wealth of the province for the prosperity of a well-known “Monster”.

In conclusion, the current Congolese government, under the leadership of Félix TSHISEKEDI, seeks to establish justice and the equitable sharing of wealth. The Tenders are the norm that allows the Congolese population to get out of poverty and anchor themselves in modernity by setting up a scholarship supervised by the CEEC. The repression of corruption and the establishment of economic justice are the pillars for the development of the DRC
