The tragic incident that occurred in the village of Kyatsaba, located in the locality of Batangi-Bingo, in the territory of Beni, in North Kivu, has deeply shaken the local community. The night of Monday, December 23, 2024 will be marked by the brutal assassination of a well-known trader in the region, Kakule Kathetherya Josua. The circumstances of this murder remain unclear, mystery and incomprehension hover over this heinous act.
In his shop, in the heart of this peaceful village, Kakule was keeping watch, as usual, when he was targeted by armed assailants. His life was abruptly interrupted, leaving behind a grieving family and a community in shock. The next morning, the chief of the Batangi-Bingo locality, Mwami Munande Ngwatala Pascal, accompanied by the commander of the Congolese National Police, immediately launched investigations to elucidate this monstrous crime. The perpetrators remain, for the time being, in the shadows, adding a dimension of anguish to this tragedy.
Located on the Beni city – Mangina axis, Kyatsaba is a village that aspires to tranquility and serenity, but which today finds itself devastated by this inexplicable violence. The local community, hurt and worried, wonders who could have committed such an act and what the motivations could be. The search for answers is launched, but the path to the truth seems strewn with pitfalls.
Faced with this terrible news, solidarity and support are organized to accompany the family of the deceased and to find solutions so that justice is done. Unity and determination will be the weapons of this wounded community, in order to face this painful event and work towards a better future, where peace and security will be the watchwords.
While waiting for light to be shed on this terrible crime, Kyatsaba mourns the loss of one of its sons, a trader appreciated and respected by all. May the memory of Kakule Kathetherya Josua be honored and may his memory remain alive in the hearts of those who loved and knew him. In these dark times, unity and solidarity will be the pillars on which the future of Kyatsaba will be rebuilt.
