Rain and thunderstorms pictures in Egypt: Rainfall map for Thursday and Friday.

The Egyptian sky is preparing to take on its most beautiful shades of gray and blue, as the General Authority for Meteorology issues a weather warning for Thursday and Friday. Egypt’s current weather conditions are unstable, with significant variations expected in several governorates of the country.

According to the Meteorology Department, these weather fluctuations are attributed to a low pressure system centered over the Mediterranean Sea, accompanied by a low pressure system aloft.

The rainfall map for Thursday indicates that heavy rain and thunderstorms are expected throughout the day along the northwest coasts (Salloum, Marsa Matruh), with a high risk of flash floods. It is therefore imperative to exercise caution and follow the instructions issued by local authorities.

Rain clouds are expected to gradually expand to cover Alexandria, Baltim, Kafr al-Sheikh, and Beheira, with moderate to heavy rainfall, potentially accompanied by lightning and thunder.

Showers are also expected in the governorates of Menoufia, Mahalla al-Kubra, Tanta, Dakahlia, Sharkia, Qalyubia, Cairo, and Giza, although less intense compared to the northern coastal regions.

Friday’s rainfall map suggests a similar scenario, with weather conditions still unstable and rain chances lingering in several parts of the country.

It is essential for Egyptian residents to stay informed of weather updates, remain vigilant to changing weather conditions, and take necessary safety measures to guard against harsh weather.

In a country where the weather can be as unpredictable as it is fascinating, these moments of rain and storms offer a different perspective on Egypt’s natural beauty, while highlighting the importance of preparation and vigilance in the face of the vagaries of the weather.
