New dynamic trade between Egypt and Bangladesh

“Fatshimétrie: New trade between Egypt and Bangladesh”

In a context where international economic relations are increasingly important, Egypt and Bangladesh are seeking to strengthen their trade exchanges to consolidate their bilateral ties. During a meeting between the Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Expatriates, Badr Abdelatty, and the Additional Foreign Secretary of Bangladesh, Riaz Hamidullah, at the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Cairo, this desire was clearly expressed.

Abdelatty stressed the importance of promising trade and investment opportunities in Egypt, which could contribute to opening new horizons of bilateral cooperation. The two sides also praised the special historical ties between Egypt and Bangladesh in different fields.

Cooperation between Egypt and Bangladesh is not only limited to the commercial field, but also extends to cultural and religious exchanges. Abdelatty stressed the need to strengthen cooperation mechanisms between Al-Azhar and the Bangladeshi authorities, given Al-Azhar’s central role in spreading tolerance and moderate teachings, while combating extremism.

Furthermore, the Minister highlighted Egypt’s efforts to restore regional security and avoid escalation in sensitive regions such as Gaza, Lebanon and Syria. This commitment to regional stability illustrates Egypt’s desire to play a positive role in resolving conflicts and promoting peace.

In conclusion, strengthening trade between Egypt and Bangladesh represents not only an opportunity for economic growth for both countries, but also a means of consolidating deep historical and cultural relations. This initiative demonstrates the desire of both nations to promote mutually beneficial cooperation and contribute to regional and international stability.
