A magical night of music, art and daring: The Glenfiddich Experimental Night Concert in Benin


The world of music and art lit up at the magical Glenfiddich Experimental Night Concert that took place at Crown Heights Pavilion on Sunday 8th December. Held for the first time in the vibrant city of Benin, this unique event was a celebration of audacity, creativity and innovation, perfectly embodying the very essence of Glenfiddich, the world’s most awarded single malt whisky.

As the sun set, the doors opened to an Afro-futuristic atmosphere, showcasing the richness and beauty of Afro culture. To the enchanting sounds of Rave Lavida DJ, the red carpet welcomed guests, dressed in their finest, for an exclusive meet and greet with Ventura Creatives.

The evening was highlighted by Ifeanyi Nwune, visionary collaborator for Glenfiddich’s 12-year-old bottle, whose ingenuity in creating artistic works highlights bold values ​​such as perseverance, creativity and a commitment to pushing boundaries, ideals perfectly in line with the theme of the evening.

As the night wore on, music enveloped the space, with DJs Ajaz and FLO spinning mesmerising beats that set the stage ablaze. Hosts Manolo Spanky and Akaba kept the crowd excited, transforming the event into a vibrant musical celebration.

The energy soared with a captivating performance by Ventura Creatives, skillfully blending imagination and rhythm. To the mesmerising sounds of DJ Gigi Jasmine, the artists dazzled the audience with breathtaking acrobatics, contorting themselves in perfect harmony with the music. DJ Fisayo then took the lead, taking the crowd on an unforgettable rhythmic journey.

With the music animating the crowd, the fine spirits of the evening added a touch of elegance to the experience. The dazzling presence of Ehiz and reality TV stars, Crossda Boss and Ike Onyema added extra sparkle to the event.

Victony set the stage ablaze with his hits “Apollo” and “Holy Father”. Runtown infused his unique style into the audience with tracks like “Mad Over You” and “Lagos to Kampala”, creating a mesmerizing atmosphere. Then came the legendary 2BABA (2Face Idibia), whose powerful voice resonated in every heart present, performing unforgettable classics such as “Implication” and “4 Instance”.
