The National Competition for Military Officers in Mbuji-Mayi: A Crucial Step Towards a More Inclusive Army


The national competition for military officers held in Mbuji-Mayi, in the Kasai-Oriental garrison, on December 14, attracted the attention of many candidates seeking a career in the Armed Forces of the DRC. The event generated great interest, with a total of 252 participants, including five women. This diversity among the candidates is an encouraging sign towards a more inclusive army that is representative of Congolese society.
