FPEF and The Bythiah Project: An Initiative for Education and Reading in the DRC

Education plays a crucial role in the development of individuals and societies. In this regard, the initiative of the Education and Training Promotion Fund (FPEF) in partnership with The Bythiah Project is to be commended. Indeed, the delivery of a file of 48,000 books to the Mampata Bilingual School Group and the Tobongisa High School is a generous gesture that aims to offer students free access to educational resources.

The Director General of the FPEF, Guy Wembo Lombela, stressed the importance of this action to enable students to enrich their knowledge and skills. Indeed, reading is an essential pillar of learning and intellectual training. By offering these books, the FPEF contributes to the promotion of reading and education in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Furthermore, the construction and equipment of libraries in different schools in the country is an essential measure to encourage research, intellectual curiosity and creativity among students. These libraries thus become resource and knowledge centers, accessible to all students and researchers in search of knowledge.

The beneficiaries of this initiative expressed their gratitude to the FPEF for this generous gesture. The director of Lycée Tobongisa, Sister Thérèse Mulosi Mayamba, stressed the importance of supporting such actions to promote the development and success of children. She thus encourages other people of good will to follow this example and contribute to the improvement of education in the DRC.

In conclusion, the FPEF initiative in partnership with The Bythiah Project represents a significant step in the promotion of education and reading in the DRC. By offering students free access to books and supporting the construction of libraries, these organizations are helping to train a new generation of educated, curious and engaged citizens. It is essential to support and strengthen these efforts to ensure a better future for all Congolese children.
