Fatshimetrie has revealed an incredible series of events, highlighting the arrest of a dangerous criminal syndicate operating interstate. The Enugu State Police has put an end to the activities of this organization, which specializes in armed hold-ups and financial frauds, through coordinated operations carried out by various specialized units.
This operation resulted in the seizure of firearms and equipment used by the syndicate to carry out its criminal activities. Among the members of the syndicate arrested were Ismaila Isah (23), Sadik Ahmed, a discharged soldier (28), Abbas Usman (33), Mubarak Garba (24), Abubakar Haruna (23), Abubakar Sani (32), Obiri Chukwuebuka (22) and Bright Omeniru (22). In addition to the arrests, the security forces seized two homemade pistols, loaded with one working cartridge and one spent cartridge, as well as a sum of N300,450, which were obtained from the illicit activities of the criminals.
In addition to the firearms, other items essential to the criminal activities of the syndicate were seized, including ten laptops, land documents, ten mobile phones, valuable jewellery and watches, one MP-3 player, one headphone, four power banks, two SIM cards, shoes and bags.
