One of the most anticipated events of the year, Dubai Shopping Festival is set to celebrate its 30th edition with a breathtaking programme and grandiose festivities. From 6 December 2024 to 12 January 2025, the city of Dubai is gearing up to host an unprecedented spectacle, showcasing an intoxicating mix of sparkling lights, dazzling fireworks and innovative drone shows.
Partnering with renowned brands such as Visa, Dubai Islamic Bank, Majid Al-Futtaim, Al-Zarooni Group and other international brands, Dubai Shopping Festival promises an unforgettable experience for its visitors in this anniversary year.
The drone shows, sponsored by ADNOC, promise to be a sight to behold with performances twice daily at Bluewaters Island and The Beach at JBR. A true technological gem, no fewer than 1,000 drones will light up the sky to offer spectators a journey through three decades of memorable moments, highlighting Dubai’s past, present and future.
The 2024 edition also promises a world first with drone shows synchronized with fireworks, offering an immersive and magical experience for festival-goers. Not to be missed, on December 13, 150 drones will accompany a skydiving performance, creating an extraordinary and unforgettable spectacle.
The party will continue every night with breathtaking fireworks presented by the Al-Zarooni Group at Dubai Festival City Mall from 8:30 p.m., while the Hatta region will offer bi-weekly pyrotechnic shows during the weekends, adding an extra touch of magic to the event.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to enjoy the Dubai Lights exhibition, an artistic celebration highlighting exceptional light installations in iconic locations such as Bluewaters Island, Palm Jumeirah Mall, Palm West Beach, Al Seef, Dubai Design District, Al Marmoom and Kite Beach.
