**Efficient Investigation Team Dismantles Criminal Gang in Enugu, Nigeria**
Last week, authorities in Enugu State reported a major success in the fight against crime. Through relentless investigative work, the police successfully dismantled a criminal gang responsible for various violent crimes in the area.
The case began on September 14, when gunmen attacked and killed Mr. Aniagu and stole his blue Toyota Corolla car, which he was driving on Amechi Road in Enugu metropolis. The attack shook the area and sparked outrage across the state.
The suspects, whose names have not been disclosed, were apprehended and confessed to their involvement in the heinous crime. Police spokesperson, DSP Daniel Ndukwe, said that during interrogation, the suspects gave detailed details of the attack on Mr Aniagu and another driver, as well as the theft of their respective vehicles. Fortunately, the second driver attacked is now in stable condition and is undergoing treatment.
