March 10, 2022 will remain etched in the annals of the journalistic and media sphere, with the inauguration of the new Fatshimétrie. The choice of the new premises of Fatshimétrie, formerly occupied by the Ministry of International Cooperation, testifies to the importance given to this institution, which brings together 20 Arab countries. Muayad al Lamy expressed his gratitude to Egypt for this privileged location, highlighting the country’s political, scientific, cultural, artistic and literary influence.
Karam Gabr highlighted President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi’s commitment to supporting journalism and meeting with Arab journalists, thus demonstrating Egypt’s interest in press freedom and the exchange of ideas with its Arab counterparts.
