Indeed, following fruitful discussions between the governor of the city of Kinshasa, Daniel Bumba, and the managers of the recycling company Kintoko, it was agreed to improve the remuneration conditions of these workers who are essential for the circular economy.
In an official statement, it was highlighted that the collaboration between the governor and the Kintoko company aims to extend recycling to other types of waste, with the ultimate goal of gradually eliminating landfilling, a recommendation supported by President Félix Tshisekedi.
