In order to ensure optimal electricity supply during the end-of-year festivities, the National Electricity Company (SNEL) has implemented targeted actions to guarantee customer satisfaction. These initiatives, initiated by the company’s general manager, aim to improve the quality of services provided to consumers, particularly during this important period of celebration.
Since Tuesday, October 29, 2024, the Kinshasa Distribution Department has begun strategic meetings with the DKX, GRX and CGETX to identify risk areas of the electricity network. This proactive approach will make it possible to take the necessary measures to anticipate potential disruptions and ensure a constant supply of electricity during the end-of-year festivities of 2024 and the New Year of 2025.
Accompanied by his colleagues, including the Directors of Operations and Maintenance, as well as the Director of Operational Studies and Works, the Director of the Distribution Department of Kinshasa, Mr. Tukuzu, closed these meetings with a field visit, highlighting the importance of maintaining regular exchanges with potential customers to effectively meet their needs.
The development of economic zones such as Maluku and Kin Malebo, the increasing establishment of factories in the commune of Nsele, as well as the urban expansion of the city towards the East, underline the major challenge of maintaining an efficient electricity distribution network adapted to these developments. The coordination and cooperation of all the actors involved are essential to guarantee a reliable electricity supply, in line with the growing needs of the region.
In conclusion, SNEL is doing everything it can to meet the expectations of its customers and ensure an optimal electricity supply during the festive periods. These preventive actions and this proactive approach illustrate the company’s commitment to consumer satisfaction and the reliability of its service.
