Summary of day 4 of the Linafoot championship in the DRC: Epic victory of AC Kuya 1-0 against Céleste de Mbandaka


Fatshimetrie, October 31, 2024 – An epic clash took place on the Tata Raphaël stadium football field in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), between AC Kuya and Céleste de Mbandaka during the 4th day of Group B of the 30th Linafoot championship.

In an intense match, AC Kuya managed to win 1-0 against Céleste, with a goal scored by Ngeleka Musumbu in the 34th minute. This victory is the second for AC Kuya this season, after their 2-0 success against Etoile du Kivu in Bukavu. With this result, AC Kuya now has 7 points in five games.

For its part, Céleste de Mbandaka, who had won two consecutive games against DC Motema Pembe (3-0) and Etoile du Kivu (2-0), suffered its first defeat of the season, collecting 6 points in three games.

This victory propels Les Aigles du Congo to 6th place in Group B, with 6 points in 4 games. For AS Dauphin Noir, the situation is more delicate with two consecutive defeats after their initial successes against Etoile du Kivu and OC Bukavu Dawa.
