Fatshimetrie, October 27 – Presidents Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and Abdelmadjid Tebboune affirmed their desire to maintain and expand their joint cooperation, as well as to continue their mutual consultations and coordination on various regional and international issues.
During the Algerian President’s working and fraternal visit to Egypt, Sisi welcomed his counterpart at Cairo International Airport before accompanying him to Al-Ittihadiya Palace for an official reception.
During the reception ceremony, the two leaders had in-depth discussions on ways to strengthen bilateral relations in various fields, according to a statement by the Spokesman for the Presidency, Ahmed Fahmy.
During these talks, the two leaders stressed the need for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon, as well as an adequate flow of humanitarian aid. They also called on the international community to protect civilians during armed conflicts.
