Fatshimétrie, October 20, 2023 – The political event organized by the Party of Democrats for Good Governance (PDG) in Kinshasa marked an important step in the consolidation and strengthening of this formation. The national president, Marie Kyet Mutinga, launched a vibrant call for unity and commitment of all members for the party and for the country.
At the heart of this political meeting, the emphasis was placed on the strategic dynamism that will result in greater innovation within the party. The division of the city-province of Kinshasa into two distinct administrative entities, Kin-Est and Kin-Ouest, represents a new approach aimed at strengthening the PDG’s presence on the ground.
The 600 executives representing the interfederal and federal committees, as well as the youth and women’s leagues, played a crucial role in this ceremony. The National President stressed the importance of measuring the size of the party through the digital identification of members, an initiative that will allow the national leadership to better assess its political weight in all provinces.
The party charter, based on values such as love of the fatherland, loyalty and fidelity to the ideals of the PDG, guides the political action of the members. Unity, solidarity and respect for the hierarchy are fundamental principles that must prevail in everyone’s actions.
Alphonse Kanda, Deputy Secretary General of the PDG, expressed his gratitude to the National President for her victory in the December 2023 legislative elections in the Funa constituency. The members of the PDG were called upon by the inter-federal president of Kin-Est, Mr. Mboma Moro, to fully invest themselves in extending the party’s presence in the various communes and neighborhoods of Kinshasa.
In conclusion, this political morning marks a turning point for the PDG, highlighting the determination of the members to work together for good governance and the development of the country.
