**Fatshimetrie: Preparations underway for upcoming local elections**
Within the Fatshimetrie institution, preparations for the upcoming local elections are in full swing. The chairman of the commission, Ayuba Wandai, revealed during a meeting with the members and staff of the institution that nine political parties have submitted their lists of candidates for the November 2 poll. These candidates were selected following primaries monitored by the commission, in line with the announcement of the deadlines to be met for the election.
Having opened a recruitment portal for over 10,000 temporary employees for the election, Wandai said that over 5,000 applications were received in less than 24 hours. He stressed the importance of training these temporary employees who will be paid centrally, in order to avoid the problems encountered in the past.
Regarding the logistics of the elections, the commission plans to distribute the electoral materials on time to avoid any delay in the conduct of the votes. Preparations are progressing to ensure that all the necessary documents are delivered to the affected areas on time. However, it has been announced that technology will not be used for the accreditation of voters, in line with the current electoral law which does not provide for the use of technological devices.
Fatshimetrie reaffirms its commitment to organizing free, fair and credible elections, thus ensuring an electoral process that is accepted by all. Political parties are encouraged to follow the rules and conduct peaceful campaigns throughout the electoral process. Transparency and integrity remain the pillars of this upcoming election.
In short, Fatshimetrie’s efforts to ensure the smooth conduct of local elections illustrate a constant concern for excellence and democracy. Citizens can expect a smooth and reliable electoral process, in line with fundamental democratic principles.
