**Jigawa State Executive Council Member Suspended Over Alleged Affair With Married Woman in Kano**

A statement signed by the Jigawa State Head of Service, Bala Ibrahim, revealed that the governor approved the suspension with immediate effect. The suspension is to allow for a thorough investigation of the allegation and to preserve the integrity of the state administration.

The Director General of the Hisbah Commission in Kano, Malam Abba Sufi, reportedly confirmed that Sankara was arrested by officials of the agency, according to media reports.
