Among these committees, the Economic, Financial and Budgetary Control Committee is of particular importance during this budget session period. The PAJ Committee, for its part, is entrusted with the heavy responsibility of dealing with crucial political issues for the country. Its establishment demonstrates the willingness of the Lower House to tackle these political challenges head on and actively contribute to building a better future for all citizens.
Furthermore, the Human Rights Committee, led by the parliamentary opposition, underlines the importance given to issues of fundamental rights and social justice in the legislative agenda. Its role will be essential to ensure respect for the rights of all citizens and promote a more just and equitable society.
The Bureau of the National Assembly has also given a prominent place to the Monitoring and Evaluation Committee, chaired by Rapporteur Jacques Djoli Esengekeli. This committee will be tasked with ensuring the implementation of parliamentary work, thus ensuring effective and transparent governance within the institution.
Finally, the Defense and Security Committee, led by National Deputy Rubins Mikindo Muhima, will focus on addressing security issues that are crucial to the country. Its action will be essential to guarantee the stability and security of all citizens, in a context marked by major security challenges.
This installation of parliamentary committees marks a major turning point in the functioning of the National Assembly.
