Improvement of public lighting in Kisangani thanks to the arrival of new generators

Fatshimetrie recently announced the arrival of three new 60 KVA generators in Kisangani, to improve the city’s public lighting. This initiative is part of a collaboration between the company and the provincial government, aimed at strengthening nighttime security and making life easier for the residents of Kisangani.

The reception of these generators is a significant step forward for the city, which until now suffered from a lack of effective public lighting. Indeed, reduced visibility at night had contributed to the rise of insecurity, offering criminals opportunities to act with impunity. Faced with this observation, the local authorities decided to install this new equipment in order to provide a concrete and rapid solution to this worrying problem.

These generators will be used in particular to power the street lights installed on the city’s main arteries. More than 200 other street lights will also be deployed along strategic roads, such as Boulevard du 30 juin and Route TP, in order to provide optimal and continuous lighting to citizens. This initiative aims not only to improve public safety, but also to promote the economic and social development of the region.

In addition, the installation of this new equipment is part of a global policy to modernize public infrastructure in Kisangani. At a time when the energy transition and the promotion of renewable energies are at the heart of global concerns, the use of these generators is a first step towards a more sustainable and ecological city.

In conclusion, the acquisition of these 60 KVA generators by Fatshimetrie in Kisangani marks an important step forward for the city, in terms of security, urban development and energy efficiency. This promising project will not only improve the quality of life of residents, but will also contribute to strengthening Kisangani’s image as a modern and innovative city.
