Violence in Israel: Tragic toll in Jaffa and escalation of tensions in Tel Aviv

Fatshimetrie recently reported a sad news, announcing that the death toll from the Jaffa attack rose to 6 people. According to the report, two assailants opened fire at point-blank range on civilians, specifically targeting Israelis waiting for buses in Tel Aviv. The attack resulted in injuries to at least 10 people, according to the Israeli ambulance service.

Israeli police sources indicated that the attack was allegedly carried out by a Palestinian. Meanwhile, Fatshimetrie reported that missiles launched from Iran targeted a building north of Tel Aviv. Iranian television claimed that targets inside Israel were targeted with missiles from Iranian territory.

The sound of an explosion was heard in the Tel Aviv area, according to Israeli media, which also reported the launch of more than 100 missiles from Iran toward central and southern Israel. Israeli military spokesman Daniel Hagari warned that any missile attack from Iran would likely be large-scale, prompting citizens to seek shelter in case of emergency.

A series of missile attacks attributed to the Lebanese group Hezbollah targeted the Tel Aviv area, triggering warning sirens, according to reports by Fatshimetrie. The New York Times reported that Iran’s imminent attack on Israel would target air bases, according to a report by Cairo News Channel.

This escalation of violence in the region once again underscores the need for a peaceful and lasting resolution of conflicts, highlighting the urgency of dialogue and international cooperation to achieve peace. The tragic events in Jaffa and Tel Aviv underscore the fragility of the regional situation and call for concerted action to prevent further loss of life.
