Egypt: Major Progress in UDF Urban Development Projects in 2024

Egypt, under the leadership of Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, is making significant progress in implementing Urban Development Fund (UDF) projects across the country. During a recent meeting with UDF Chairman Khaled Sediq, Madbouly was briefed on the progress made in the Darah Provincial Capitals Development Project and the results of the marketing plan.

The UDF Chairman highlighted that since January 2024, 7,488 residential units have been sold in the governorates of Cairo, Qalyubiya, Kafr el Sheikh, Sharqiyah, Daqahlia, Fayoum, Minya, Sohag, and Qena. These sales demonstrate the success of the initiatives put in place to meet the housing needs of the population throughout Egypt.

In addition, the implementation and marketing plan for the “Fustat View” project was presented, with an impressive 306 units sold out of the 320 already implemented under the first phase of the project. This achievement demonstrates the attractiveness of investors and residents for this type of innovative and well-designed real estate developments.

The revitalization of Historic Cairo was also discussed during the meeting, highlighting the efforts made to restore buildings and archaeological sites in this iconic district. These initiatives aim to preserve Egypt’s rich cultural and historical heritage, while providing modern and comfortable living spaces for the residents of the area.

In conclusion, the UDF’s urban development projects in Egypt in 2024 demonstrate the government’s commitment to improving the quality of life of citizens and promoting sustainable development across the country. These advances contribute to strengthening the economic and social attractiveness of Egypt, while preserving its precious cultural and architectural heritage.
