In the Democratic Republic of Congo region, various provinces face major challenges, including the flagrant lack of infrastructure, the precariousness of the daily lives of the inhabitants, the dysfunction of the public administration and the almost total absence of implementation of public policies. These problems were highlighted by the reports presented by several national deputies on the occasion of the parliamentary recess of September 30.
One of the parliamentarians who submitted his report is Freddy Bonzeke, elected representative of Mushie in Mai-Ndombe. His report highlights the difficulties encountered in the region, highlighting the precariousness of the working conditions of state agents, the lack of infrastructure and equipment, the irregularity of salaries and the non-functioning of the peace courts. In addition, it raises concerns about the non-implementation of the Development Program of the 145 territories and the program of free education and maternity.
Indeed, Freddy Bonzeke expresses his deep concern about the ineffectiveness of the Development Program of the 145 territories in his constituency of Mushie, denouncing the lack of concrete achievements and the ambient inertia. Similarly, he deplores the absence of visible effects of free maternity, pointing out a regrettable inertia.
This alarming observation is unfortunately not isolated, many other parliamentarians have also raised similar issues in their parliamentary recess reports. These testimonies reveal a critical situation that requires collective awareness and concrete actions to improve the living conditions of the inhabitants and strengthen the functioning of public institutions.
It is imperative that the national authorities take urgent measures to remedy these shortcomings and guarantee sustainable and equitable development throughout the country. The future of the Democratic Republic of Congo depends on the ability of its leaders to put in place effective policies and ensure transparent and responsible management of public resources.
