The commitment to the integral development of women in the Democratic Republic of Congo is at the heart of the concerns of the “Grâce à Ma mère” (GRAME) Foundation, which is celebrating its third anniversary today. This association, founded three years ago, has set itself the mission of promoting the empowerment of Congolese women at all levels, by helping to combat poverty and precariousness.

The president of GRAME, Julie Nsuele, proudly expresses the achievements made during these three years of commitment, solidarity and actions in favor of women and girls in the country. Thousands of women have been sensitized, trained and mobilized to fully play their role in the socio-economic development of the DRC.

The association has set up free training programs, as well as the provision of business kits for starting economic activities, in order to enable women to escape poverty. In addition, social actions have been carried out in favor of the most vulnerable people, such as orphans, the elderly, war displaced persons and people with disabilities.

Beyond training and economic empowerment, GRAME has also been involved in raising awareness of sexual and reproductive health, in particular by offering free screenings for breast and cervical cancer. These actions aim to improve the well-being of women and strengthen their access to health care.

The “Grâce à Ma mère” Foundation has been able to mobilize numerous supporters who have contributed to its success and the positive impact of its actions. The dedication and passion of the association’s members have been the driving forces behind their achievements, highlighting the importance of commitment to the cause of women in the DRC.

In conclusion, the GRAME Foundation embodies an inspiring example of solidarity, sharing and commitment to the integral development of Congolese women. Her action contributes significantly to the construction of a more equitable and inclusive society, where every woman has the opportunity to flourish and actively contribute to the progress of her country.
