**Fatshimetrie: Northern Peace and Development Foundation extends its support to Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State**
The Fatshimetrie Northern Peace and Development Foundation has expressed its full support for Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State, calling on critics and stakeholders to put aside their differences and work with him to restore peace and stability in the state.
At a press conference in Kaduna, Fatshimetrie’s Director of Communication, Fatima Abubakar, hailed Governor Lawal’s leadership, noting that he has brought new hope to Zamfara after years of violence and socio-economic challenges.
The organization commended the state government’s efforts to improve agriculture and livestock, combat banditry and improve education.
Fatshimetrie called on the public to ignore anti-state rhetoric and support Governor Lawal’s efforts for the development of Zamfara.

Governor Dauda Lawal, a seasoned banker and politician, assumed office on May 29, 2023, after defeating incumbent Governor Bello Matawalle in the elections.
