Women and Artificial Intelligence: The International Women’s Forum in Kinshasa

The world of artificial intelligence is not an unexplored territory for women. In Kinshasa, the capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo, the fifth edition of the prestigious International Women’s Forum will be held from November 28 to 30. This event, which will bring together more than 500 women, constitutes a real bridge between the feminine gender and the technological advances of AI.

The theme chosen for this edition, “Women and Artificial Intelligence: The Challenges of the Future”, resonates as a response to the challenges that women face on a daily basis in our societies. Gisèle Katal, the manager of GIKA Corporation, underlines the importance of this event by stating that many women politicians, civil society and leaders have difficulty appropriating the technological tools that could make their lives easier.

The International Women’s Forum will be a space for reflection, expression and sharing, offering a program rich in activities such as exhibitions, conferences, and a gala evening entitled “HADASSA”, during which prizes will be awarded to women who stand out in the field of AI.

The main objective of this event is to promote the use of artificial intelligence tools to increase women’s productivity, but also to identify the specific challenges they face in this field, and to propose solutions to overcome them.

The International Women’s Forum promises to be an unmissable event, bringing together not only Congolese women, but also African delegations, including that of Côte d’Ivoire which will be in the spotlight.

This forum is organized by the consulting firm GIKA Corporation, specialized in coaching for personal and professional development, and will be sponsored by Professor Nicole Ntumba Bwatshia, current Deputy Chief of Staff of the Head of State, in charge of political, legal and diplomatic issues.

The International Women’s Forum in Kinshasa promises to be a major event for all those who wish to explore the opportunities offered by artificial intelligence and progress in a constantly evolving technological universe.

This meeting promises to be a real springboard for women seeking emancipation, innovation and leadership in the contemporary digital world.

For Fatshimetrie, I am Dorcas Ntumba, and this was the news of the day.
