**Fatshimetrie: Training Congolese youth in ICT to boost agriculture**
The National Confederation of Agricultural Producers of Congo (CONAPAC) recently organized a workshop at the University of Kwango in Kenge, with the aim of assessing and strengthening the knowledge of fifty young students on new information and communication technologies oriented towards the agricultural sector. This initiative aims to generate interest among young people in digital tools and encourage them to embark on agricultural entrepreneurship, a promising sector in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Henock Kimbali, CONAPAC’s communications manager, underlines the importance of this training by emphasizing its motivating aspect for young farmers. He highlights the need to master ICT to promote agri-food products, while emphasizing the importance of creating innovative companies in the field of agriculture.
The intervention of the provincial federation of agricultural producers of Kwango (FEPPAKWA) and the financial partner TRIAS is welcomed for their support in organizing this workshop.
