Fatshimetrie, September 10, 2024 – The issue of agriculture, an essential pillar of economic development in the Democratic Republic of Congo, was recently at the center of discussions during a meeting between the Governor of South Kivu and the representative of the company Bio Agro Business (B.A.B) of Bwegera, in the Ruzizi plain. This fruitful exchange highlighted the agricultural projects carried out by the company, as well as the future prospects envisaged in this area.
Donatien Mbayu Tshimuka, Deputy General Manager of Bio Agro Business, stressed the importance of sharing with the provincial authority the achievements of the company over the past year, highlighting in particular the products resulting from their agricultural activities. Emphasis was also placed on the close cooperation with local farmers and farmers in the Ruzizi plain, thus highlighting the positive impact of this collaboration on the local economy.
