**Archbishop Kutino Fernando: A Call to Support President Félix Tshisekedi**

For 15 years, Archbishop Kutino Fernando has remained silent on the politics of the Democratic Republic of Congo. However, he recently returned to the forefront by calling on the Congolese to support President Félix Tshisekedi. Known for having been at the origin of the concept “Let’s Save Congo” in opposition to the Kabila regime, this religious figure now supports the current leader of the country.

Through a program broadcast on the YouTube channel “CONGO LEADER TV”, Archbishop Kutino Fernando stressed that President Tshisekedi was a figure chosen by Heaven to lead the Democratic Republic of Congo towards a better future. He urged the Congolese to mobilize to accompany and support the President in his mission to put an end to the shenanigans of his detractors.

The Archbishop, known for his courage and frankness, also pointed out the need for President Tshisekedi to be vigilant with regard to his entourage. He recalled the lessons of history, including the fall of the late Marshal Mobutu, to emphasize that those close to him can often be the first to give up in times of difficulty. In a gesture of sincerity, he mentioned that as an advisor to the President, he would have advised him to take a firm position with his inner circle.

Having no personal connection with the Head of State, Archbishop Kutino Fernando nevertheless expressed a positive view of him. He called for unity and national solidarity to support the President in his mission to straighten out the country. As a figure of civil society and a former political prisoner, he also pleaded for reparation for the injustices suffered during the former regime.

In conclusion, Archbishop Kutino Fernando’s appeal resonates as an invitation to unity and collective responsibility for the well-being and progress of the Democratic Republic of Congo. His message embodies the hope for a better future, based on solidarity and justice for all Congolese citizens.
