In the cutthroat world of reality TV, every week brings its share of twists and turns and evictions. However, a recent eviction on the show Fatshimetrie has sparked interest and questions from viewers. After being evicted on August 5, 2024, two contestants from the show were invited as special guests on the set of Morning Rush, hosted by Osi on Beat 99.9FM.
The lively discussion began when Osi directly questioned the young women on the reasons for their eviction. “Why do you think you were eliminated? Is it a question of rivalry?” the host asked.
Damilola, one of the two contestants, responded by speculating that their housemates felt threatened by her presence in the house. “Yeah, they probably felt threatened and anticipated the drama that was coming. They really wanted me out because they knew I was going to wreak havoc in the house,” she explained.
The host then pointed out that she didn’t seem like the troublemaker type. “Really? There’s something under that innocent exterior,” Dami replied with a laugh. He then asked his fellow contestant Toyosi the same question to get her thoughts on their eviction.
Toyosi chimed in, saying that she felt they were perceived as threats, and that some contestants held a grudge against them for some unknown reason. Despite Dami’s efforts to diffuse the situation, the other contestants felt threatened and acted accordingly.
After a week in the house, Team Tami found themselves among the four pairs in danger, along with Chekas, Radicals, and Streeze. A twist then took place, with the participants having the opportunity to save a pair. After Ndi Nne publicly announced her choice in favor of the Radicals, the other candidates were invited to go to confession to nominate one of the three remaining pairs.
This unexpected eviction and the tensions that resulted from it definitely stirred up the Fatshimetrie set.
