The July 2024 Government Seminar held in Kinshasa marked a major turning point in the governance of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Under the leadership of President Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi, members of the government worked together to update their shared vision and strengthen their commitment to the government’s action program for the period 2024-2028.
Under the theme “Sealing the civic engagement pact by promoting performance in governance and effective implementation of reforms”, this seminar was an opportunity for ministers to address crucial issues such as good governance, security, public procurement and the business climate. The debates and reflections conducted during these three days of intense work made it possible to define a clear and ambitious roadmap for the years to come.
Prime Minister Judith Suminwa Tuluka welcomed the diligence and involvement of all members of the government. She stressed the importance of maintaining this momentum of collaboration and determination to advance reforms and achieve the objectives set. The performance of each minister will be evaluated regularly based on the concrete results obtained, in accordance with the priorities defined in the Government’s Action Program.
