Political Consultations in Isiro: Towards a Future of Fraternity and Prosperity

Fatshimétrie, July 28, 2024 (ACP) – At the heart of the political and social issues that animate Isiro, in the Haut-Uélé province of the Democratic Republic of Congo, a series of political consultations of capital importance were held. Political and social actors met to discuss the orientations to be given to local governance, placed under the sign of fraternity and love.

During these meetings, the head of the executive shared with the various local federations of the UDPS-Tshisekedi the priority axes of his public policy for Haut-Uélé. Emphasis was placed on the need for close collaboration and impeccable political discipline to drive the development of the region. This desire to unite in a spirit of fraternity and affection promises to guide future actions and strengthen ties between the various stakeholders.

Participants expressed their support for the formation of a government composed of competent men and women, capable of meeting the expectations of the population and implementing President Félix Tshisekedi’s political vision for this part of the country. It is clear that the objective is to build a strong government team, up to the challenges to be met and the objectives to be achieved.

Beyond political considerations, these consultations also provided an opportunity to reaffirm the importance of the participation of youth, women, traditional leaders and socio-cultural associations in public life. By listening to everyone’s opinions and suggestions, Governor Jean Bakomito shows his willingness to govern in an inclusive and transparent manner.

As part of the Sacred Union of the Nation, the various member political parties expressed their commitment to working closely together to support the development of Haut-Uélé and the Democratic Republic of Congo as a whole. The consultations led by the Governor aim to build bridges and bring together energies for a prosperous and harmonious future.

In conclusion, these political and social exchanges in Isiro reflect the common desire to build a better future for all. By emphasizing fraternity, love and competence, local actors demonstrate their determination to work together for a flourishing Haut-Uélé and a DRC moving towards progress.
