**Fatshimetrie: Discover the key members of the Kwango provincial government**
**Latest news from Fatshimetrie – January 27, 2022**
The suspense finally ended last Tuesday evening with the publication of the list of members of the Kwango provincial government. A decision that raised a lot of expectations among the local population. Governor Willy Bitwisila has appointed ten members to his government, a promising team destined to lead the province towards a prosperous future.
Among these ten members, there are three women who are entrusted with important ministerial positions. Petronie Vunza is responsible for land affairs, town planning and housing, city innovation and tourism. Nancy Kasela, for her part, will lead the infrastructure, public works and reconstruction sector. Finally, José Lulemba will have the mission of developing the agricultural sector and opening up the province.
Governor Bitwisila also called on subject matter experts to complete his team. Fidèle Tshisepu Caumba, former deputy divisional police commissioner in Kwango, has been appointed head of the Ministry of the Interior and Security. In addition, the only appointed deputy, Apollinaire Yumba, takes charge of the Ministry of Health, a crucial position in these times of health crisis.
It is interesting to note that ministerial positions were distributed fairly among the different political forces in the province. Christophe Mboso’s Convergence for the Republic and Democracy obtained two positions, while Palu, UDPS, Eliezer Ntambwe’s ACR, and other political groups also saw their members appointed to strategic positions.
Furthermore, each Kwango territory is represented within the provincial government, with a view to inclusiveness and representativeness. Thus, we find a balanced distribution of ministries between the five territories of the province: Kasongolunda, Kenge, Feshie, Kahemba and Popokaba.
This announcement marks the end of three weeks of waiting since the inauguration of the new governor. An extraordinary session is already planned at the Provincial Assembly to confirm the establishment of the provincial government for the third term. The challenges awaiting this new team are numerous, but with such a diversity of skills and experience, Kwango can look forward to a promising future.
