**Fatshimetrie – Global event: The 56th International Chemistry Olympiad 2024**
The global chemistry scene recently witnessed the largest gathering of talents from around the world, at the 56th edition of the International Chemistry Olympiad. The event, orchestrated by the King Abdulaziz Foundation and its companions for giftedness and creativity “Mawhiba”, began under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and King Saud University, in close partnership with the Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC).
This year, 333 brilliant young people from 90 different countries converged towards the same goal: to surpass themselves in chemistry tests and compete to win the coveted medals of this international Olympiad. Supervised by 260 experts whose reputation transcends borders, these students are immersed in an atmosphere of fierce competition which will last until July 30.
Since its beginnings in 1968 in Prague, the 56th International Chemistry Olympiad continues to attract the curious and promising minds of tomorrow, providing them with a platform to express their passion for chemistry.
