Fatshimétrie looked at the issues underlying the development of the commune of Mangobo in Kisangani, in the Democratic Republic of Congo. At the heart of the concerns of the inhabitants of this municipality are major challenges that hamper their daily lives and hinder the progress of the region.
During an exchange with the provincial deputy, Professor Roger Ekongo, the population expressed their concerns regarding persistent insecurity, road infrastructure and electricity problems, as well as the eligibility criteria for the Provincial civil service. These questions remind us of the urgency of acting to meet the essential needs of the community.
Faced with these concerns, the MP presented the measures put in place to combat insecurity, such as the creation of an emergency number to report incidents and the distribution of whistles to alert in the event of a dangerous situation. These initiatives aim to strengthen the safety of residents and prevent crime in the region.
Regarding infrastructure, Professor Roger Ekongo promised to advocate for improved roads to facilitate the mobility of residents, machinery and agricultural products. This approach aims to stimulate the local economy and promote the development of Mangobo and its surroundings.
Finally, the MP expressed his gratitude to the population of Mangobo for having placed their trust in him during the provincial legislative elections of December 2023. This mark of support reinforces his commitment to best representing the interests of his fellow citizens and to acting to improve the living conditions in the community.
Ultimately, the challenges facing Mangobo commune reveal the need for collective action to overcome obstacles to development. It is crucial that local authorities and citizens work together to create a safe, prosperous and inclusive environment for all.
