Technology has become an essential pillar of our modern society, a driving force that can transform the lives of individuals and communities. In Kinshasa, the capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo, a revolutionary project is emerging, offering women and young people the opportunity to emancipate themselves and train in the technological skills of tomorrow.

Under the name “Espace”, this initiative carries the promise of empowerment and education, propelling women towards a future of freedom and independence. Thanks to a partnership between the Israeli company “Espace” and the NGO “RDC bénit Israël (RDCBI)” through its Lifaa structure, Congolese women and young people will have the opportunity to acquire cutting-edge technological and creative skills.

Lifaa President Lydie Kinkalankala highlights the importance of this initiative as a lever for women’s empowerment in an era of speed and innovation. She emphasizes the key role of technology in women’s personal and professional development, encouraging them to embrace technological tools to create new opportunities.

The “Espace” project targets a wide audience, from young people aged 6 to 18 to women from all strata of society, demonstrating its desire to include and train as many people as possible. By collaborating with the Congolese government, particularly through the Ministry of National Education and Higher Education, the project aims to integrate technology into schools to prepare women and young people for a digital future.

The vision of Lifaa and its partners goes beyond simply teaching technological skills. They aspire to create an ecosystem of innovation and entrepreneurship that will enable women to become key players in the digital economy. In doing so, they will contribute to the empowerment of women, helping them become driving forces for progress in their society.

Ultimately, the “Espace” project is not just about teaching technological skills; it offers Congolese women and youth the opportunity to take their destiny into their own hands, to become agents of change and innovators in an ever-changing world. Through this commitment to empowerment and education, the Democratic Republic of Congo is opening itself to a future where technology becomes a lever for equality and prosperity for all.
