The Kinshasa ring road: Patrick Eshiba closely monitors the progress of the work

National MP Patrick Eshiba recently pledged to closely monitor the progress of work on the Kinshasa ring road, to ensure that the infrastructure is delivered on time. As a representative of the Tshangu constituency, he sees this project as a major step forward in solving the chronic problem of traffic jams in the Congolese capital.

In a context where the population of Kinshasa struggles to move efficiently due to recurring traffic jams, the construction of the ring road is proving to be a crucial measure to relieve congestion in the city. Indeed, this 63 km structure, connecting the South-East and South-West parts of Kinshasa, will facilitate the movement of residents and connect important districts such as Mbudi, Mitendi, Joli site, Bralima, Riflar, Ndjili brasserie , Cecomaf, Buma, Ndjoko, among others.

MP Patrick Eshiba expressed satisfaction with the start of the works and pledged to ensure rigorous supervision to ensure that deadlines and allocated funds are respected. He insists on the fact that any misappropriation of funds or delay in the progress of the work will be severely sanctioned, thus demonstrating his determination to ensure that the work is completed as quickly as possible.

The Kinshasa ring road is part of a broader program to build a peripheral road aimed at streamlining traffic around the capital, in particular towards the N’djili international airport. With an estimated budget of 300 million US dollars and a construction period of three years, this ambitious project represents a real challenge for the future of mobility in Kinshasa.

Ultimately, Patrick Eshiba’s involvement as “sentinel” of the work on the Kinshasa ring road demonstrates his desire to actively contribute to the improvement of transport infrastructure in the Congolese capital. His vigilance and commitment to the successful completion of this major project will be essential to ensure that the inhabitants of Kinshasa can fully benefit from the benefits of this new road infrastructure.
