Kinshasa, June 22, 2024 – The distribution of a fleet of thirty-six Toyota 4X4 utility vehicles to the services of the National Electricity Company (SNEL) and the Kinshasa Distribution Directorate reveals a significant gesture aimed at improving the means of communication and production within these strategic entities of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
This initiative, welcomed by Denis Tukuzu, distribution director of Kinshasa, comes in a context where needs in terms of means of communication and travel are regularly requested by executives and agents from different departments. Thanks to these new vehicles, SNEL hopes to better meet the expectations of its customers in terms of quality of service.
Among the thirty-six Toyota 4×4 pick-ups made available, eighteen are expressly reserved for the Kinshasa Distribution Directorate. This strategic allocation, specified by the words “SNEL & MOI, ezongi confidence” engraved on each vehicle, demonstrates the company’s commitment to strengthening its logistics system for better execution of its missions.
Denis Tukuzu, who supervised the handover ceremony in the company of Willy Likulia, chief of staff of the Director General, underlined the importance of the responsible use of these new means of production. In a difficult financial context for the public company, the good management of these material resources is of paramount importance to guarantee maximum operational efficiency.
